We seek a top-notch business development professional to help develop our base of OEM and reseller partners in the enterprise software and hosted application markets.

The business development account manager position requires a highly motivated self-starter with a proven track record of a minimum of four years developing successful partnerships in the high tech industry (software industry preferred).

The ideal candidate has a strong ability to qualify opportunities and present and develop relationships over the phone combined with excellent communication skills (verbal, written, listening), including articulate and professional phone diction. The ability to work and thrive in a fast paced, goal-oriented environment and a strong initiative, positive attitude, and the ability to learn and adapt quickly are all necessary skills to succeed in this position. Proficiency in the use of a customer relationship management (CRM) and partner relationship management (PRM) systems and experience with system integrators and SI channel program development are advantages. A Bachelor's degree in an applicable discipline or equivalent experience is required.

The position is based in Shelton, Connecticut.
